Virtual Tours and Panoramic
Images
We can provide a
wide variety of virtual tours and panoramic images
that you can then distribute via your website or can
package onto a CD (See our Business
Card CD section for examples
of our branded CDs).
These panoramic images could
just be of a specific room within a property or
building, or can be taken outdoors to illustrate
the landscape or views from a particular position.
From a single image to a complete tour of a property,
conference facility, hotel or motor dealership
for example, we can produce a solution to fit your
requirements. Our knowledge of website design and
creation of interactive CDs can allow us to build
these panoramic images into your current website
or create a new site or CD to suit.
We use a special
360 degree lens that allows us to take a single
photograph which will cover the entire 360 degree
view from the point of the camera. The vertical
field of view is also impressive at a full 90
degrees. |

The 360 degree
lens allows us to take very low distortion images as
no image stitching is necessary (some panoramic image
solutions use 12 separate images taken from different
angles of rotation with a standard camera lens which
are stitched together to form a 360 degree view and
there are often noticeable points where several images
overlap).
Our single shot solutions
are also suitable to views where there is movement
as the whole view is captured at the same instant,
whereas a stitched solution takes several minutes
to take all of the photos.
We use a high quality
8 megapixel digital camera
to ensure the highest quality images are taken and
images are adjusted within Photoshop when being processed
to ensure the optimum colour, contrast and brightness
balance.
The fees for the
panoramic images and virtual tours will vary depending
on the application and are billed at £60+VAT
per hour for travel time, taking the photos and converting
the image for use in a website or an interactive CD
presentation. Typical fees are usually £300-£600+VAT
for about 4-8 different images.

companies within the UK who can also take panoramic
images if you are not located close to our base in
Hampshire.
