For full colour offset litho or silk
screen printing we use a 400MB DVD-Rom card and the
artwork is printed directly onto the surface of the
card rather than using labels.
The discs themselves are pressed rather
than burnt by laser and so they cannot be supplied
as blank DVDs for you to burn your own content onto.
The files for the discs must be included at the same
time as printing.
Our 400MB DVD-Rom discs measure 85mm
x 61mm, although the artwork should include a 3mm bleed
margin and be produced at a resolution of 300dpi using
CMYK colour separation.
Please make sure that font sizes are
no smaller than 6pt and please either supply the font
files of the fonts used, or convert them to outlines.
The artwork should preferably be supplied
as an Illustrator or layered PDF file, however we have
also included a PhotoShop file if preferred.
The actual content for the disc should be provided
on a DVD master disc and sent to: Disc Production
